Role: Project Account Manager
Department: Retails Solutions Division

NEC XON is looking for a Project Account Manager to join the Retails Solutions Division. The successful incumbent will be responsible to ensure that all accounting, administrative, and project functions are addressed and that all direct reports perform at maximum capacity.

The incumbent  is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects,  investigating   variances, report on expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all internal finance, account and admin functions in the Retail BU. This includes managing a team of administrators.
  • Preparing of monthly & quarterly reports on actual vs budgeted GP & Revenue.
  • Monthly reporting on expected revenue & GP forecast
  • Maintaining the annual license fee database and overseeing the correct license fee billing amount to each customer
  • Monthly updating of revenue and GP actuals on forecasting tool
  • Managing and maintaining the correct information is loaded to forecasting tool by KAMs and administrative staff.
  • Preparing of, detailed and explanatory, final reports to clients / Account Managers consisting of budgetary info, problems occurred, and remedial actions taken, for all projects delivered
  • Assist with collecting account information from existing or new clients, debt collection, invoicing and after sales support as required
  • Audit preparation for financial and ISO audit
  • Facilitating rental approval between clients/retailers and rental finance companies
  • Update weekly SOH report for project meetings
  • Update monthly unit cost report for Operations Manager project budget calculations
  • Authorize additional stock requests for on-going projects
  • Postmortem reporting on finalized projects
  • Report on open invoicing to be done monthly
  • Authorizing Payroll & Petrol Claims Monthly
  • Manage COD sales strategies
  • Oversee the orders placed on Smart Retail Portal
  • Analyze weekly product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
  • Assist operations manager with project budgets, administration and sign off
  • Any ad hoc duties as required

Skills Required:

  • Must have at least 4 years AX experience
  • Communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced Excel experience
  • Reporting skills
  • 2-4 years accounting and finance experience
  • Project management skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12 or similar
  • Relevant Finance or Booking qualification
  • Project Management qualification would be an advantage
